Shamanic Journeys I saw this portal. It is an entrance to the Lower
World of Mother Earth, the Other People, and the Animal Totems. I use
this portal to visit my guides when I journey to the Lower World.

of this image in a portable sketchbook, so I could record my ideas and
feelings whenever and wherever I had them. I made it during a very dark
time in my life. And I found that I could use my art as a vehicle of
self discovery and therapy.

one of my Spirit Guides. It is an amorphous being that represents the
power of love we all have within us. This guide helps me align my chakras
and cleanse my aura, especially during or after a particularly stressful

"Pentacle of the Black Cat" -- 2006

Description: The image of the the
pentacle is a sacred symbol dating back thousands of years and found
throughout the world. It represents the 5 elements: Earth, Air, Fire,
Water, and Spirit. The cat, as an animal, is one I have always loved
and admired. As a spiritual being, cats are icons of mystery and mysticism;
they often represent the nocturnal aspect of the Divine Feminine, such
as the Moon or a Moon Goddess. They are the only being that can pass
through a Magick Circle without disrupting the power once the circle
has been cast.
